The exploits of various guests and staff at a luxury resort over the course of a week. HBO renewed the series for a second season, even though the show was intended to be a one-season limited miniseries. Word is that the series will be an anthology-style series with new characters for each season. HBO has already done this (to great success) with the series 無間警探 (2014). Featured in Jeremy Vine: Episode #4,175 (2021). The White Lotus is so much better than I expected. Both seasons feature all-star casts from start to finish, all of whom do an incredible job. I can’t stress this enough, both casts are perfect. Also, the visuals of this show are just beautiful. This show won so many awards already in its first season, and I fully expect season two to win just as many. It’s both funny and serious as it shows the class differences and how some of the rich and privileged live their lives. There are no real villains in this series, but there are definitely some frustrating and annoying characters. There are so many great characters that everyone has their favorite and most annoying character.
