Is she a siren or a myth?
Line of Events
Partenope is a woman named after her city. In Greek myth, Parthenope is the siren who committed suicide after failing to enchant Odysseus.
In the film, Parthenope is the incarnation of the city of Naples
Her body was brought by the tide to the place where the Castel dell’Ovo is now built, and for this she gave the name to the city that would later become Neapolis, Naples. WarmthWritten by Peter GregsonPlayed by Peter Gregson, Warren Zielinski, Magdalena Filipczak, Laurie Anderson, Ashok Klouda.
They tried to fit 500 things into this girl’s life, and it makes no sense
I have never seen such a mix of random scenes, it is a long mix of random things that happen, some really random for no reason and no consequences. For the first hour, the main character acts like any other mysterious 16-year-old girl on Tumblr, just spouting high register phrases to appear intellectual.
The ending is the best part, and gives a partial sense of accomplishment to an otherwise inconclusive movie
There are a lot of changes between scenes when a question is asked, which can make the movie feel “artistic” at first, but after the 5th time, it gets boring. Some characters just enter the movie and disappear for no apparent reason, too much is left unsaid and unexplained.
